4-row Monosem No-Till planter

Mark Stubbs plants 150 Hectares of maize with his Monosem planter. He also plants 100 Hectare of Virginia Tobacco and another 80 Hectares of wheat in the South Headlands area of Zimbabwe.

He is the proud owner of a 4-Row No-Till Monosem planter. The planter is fitted with two x 600 litre hoppers and high outlet Fertisystem augers.

What was the deciding factor in purchasing a Monosem planter?

A strong heavy simple zero till planter with pto fan. Monosem has good backup in Zimbabwe.

Which feature(s) on the Monosem planter stand(s) out against the planters of our competition?

Large fertiliser bins applying fertiliser through tines behind opening coulter. Monosem seed unit is tried and tested . Pto fan. Available in 4 row units.

If there is anything to improve on the planter or our service, what would that be?

Require more abrasion resistant fertiliser tines .
