This year we had the old Mascor stand usually displaying John Deere tractors and Kverneland equipment at the Royal Agricultural Show held in Pietermaritzburg.

Monotec awarded a Silver Medal at the Royal Agricultural Show

The Royal Agricultural Show in KwaZulu Natal is the oldest and largest agricultural show on the continent. This year (2017) the show began on the 26th of May and lasted until the 3rd of June.

Monotec has always been keen exhibitors for such shows. This year’s show featured our new No Till Twin row planter. We exhibited various other models. This included the well established Monosem MS vegetable planter. The Monosem Super crop vegetable cultivator, lift and pull type planters as well as our Strip Till models were also exhibited.

Once again The Royal Agricultural Show proved to be a great success. Many farmers present at the expo showed great interest in our products.

This year Monotec was lucky enough to be awarded a Silver Medal by the Royal Agricultural Show’s strict judging panel. The award was for an outstanding presentation of Agricultural Equipment.

Royal Agricultural Show 2016

The 2016 Royal Agricultural show took place from the 29^th of April until the 7^th of May in Pietermaritzburg KwaZulu Natal. The Royal Show being the largest Agricultural show in Natal and the oldest in Africa with the first show in 1851.

This year Monosem shared a stand with our local dealer Kzn Agriserve receiving a Gold Medal as well as the Presidents Cup for best effort.

Monosem had a great attendance and interest on the stand as well as many sales despite the country coming through a severe drought. Monosem displayed a number of our products from pull type planters to strip till and vegetable planters.

Once again it has been an absolute pleasure being involved in this year’s Royal Agricultural Show. We would also like to thank the organisers and all those attendees who showed their support.
